The EL-40 module has been developed for all ICOM, some YAESU and Kenwood radios that provide band data or frequency information via the serial CI-V / CAT interface.
Because the module is specifically configurable, it can be used for various switching applications.
The EL-40 universal band decoder receives the information via CI-V or CAT or via the analog BAND data interface of the transceiver.
The data is evaluated by the microcontroller using an algorithm and the 8 relay drivers are controlled accordingly.
